1. Is hiTechMODA on the official CFDA Fashion Calendar?

hiTechMODA operates as an independent New York Fashion Week production. The Council of Fashion Designers of America determines inclusion on its official calendar, which is outside our control.

Our focus is providing professional runway production, brand visibility, and promotional assets at an accessible participation rate.

2. Will buyers and retailers attend?

Buyers, retailers, and other industry professionals may attend, but their attendance is not guaranteed.

Our platform focuses on brand awareness, consumer exposure, and professional runway content. Wholesale buying typically takes place at trade shows such as MAGIC and COTERIE, in showrooms, and through buying appointments.

3. What press and media opportunities are available?

hiTechMODA Productions supports designer visibility through press releases, targeted media outreach, and social media promotion before and after each runway event.

Our New York City PR agency, Lawlor Media Group, supports this outreach through:

  • Press release distribution: Releases are distributed through major newswires, including Associated Press, and made discoverable through search engines such as Google and Bing.

  • Broad potential reach: Distribution outlets collectively attract more than 150 million unique monthly visitors. This reflects the outlets’ potential audience, rather than guaranteed views of an individual release.

  • Regional media outreach: Distribution includes local television outlets and independent news publishers in states such as New York, Ohio, Virginia, and California.

  • News and business platforms: Releases are made available through platforms including Bloomberg Terminal and Crunchbase.

  • Targeted press outreach: One New York campaign included more than 400 media contacts, with opportunities for additional pickup through Associated Press distribution.

  • Social media promotion: hiTechMODA promotes its events through Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.

  • Getty Images distribution: Professional runway photographs are made available for publications to consider for editorial use.

These efforts promote the overall event and participating designers. Individual designer features, editorial coverage, and placement in specific publications are not guaranteed.

4. Is Getty Images runway photography included?

If assigned to Runway.

5. Can I request a dedicated press release for my brand?

Yes. A dedicated designer press release, wire distribution, and personalized media outreach are available for an additional fee.

This service can highlight your brand story, collection inspiration, and New York Fashion Week participation. Pricing is quoted separately, and editorial coverage is not guaranteed.

6. What does the participation package include?

The package described in this offer includes:

  • 10 professional runway models

  • Standard runway hair and makeup

  • Runway production, staging, lighting, and sound

  • Backstage coordination and production support

  • Getty Images runway photography: three selected images per model *if assigned to production

  • Participation in overall event publicity and promotion

Please refer to your individual designer agreement for confirmed pricing and inclusions.

7. Can I request enhanced hair and makeup?

Yes. Enhanced or specialized hair and makeup services are available for an additional fee.

Please share your creative direction in advance so our team can review your needs.

8. Does participation guarantee sales or press coverage?

No. Participation does not guarantee sales, buyer attendance, retail placement, editorial coverage, commercial partnerships, or representation.

It provides a professional setting to showcase your collection, build brand visibility, and create content for your marketing and business outreach.

9. Can I arrange a dedicated show or include a live performance?

Yes. We welcome proposals for dedicated runway shows, live performances, and customized presentations.

These formats allow more flexibility with choreography, music, staging, and storytelling. They require a separate production proposal and cost more than the shared runway package.

10. When and where is Season 17 New York Fashion Week?

Dates: February 12–13, 2027

Venue: The Edison Ballroom

Address: 240 West 47th Street, Times Square, New York City
